Who is chelsea howard?
As a competitive swimmer for 16 years and a varsity student-athlete at Penn State, I’ve always been a determined, hardworking, and detail-oriented team player. I learned many life lessons — from communication to perseverance — by training and competing at the highest level of my sport. Those skills translate directly into my career and give me a passion for working on a team.
I love the art of storytelling. I love watching an idea turn into a masterpiece. I love reading a transcript and putting together a story, making sure each puzzle piece fits into the bigger picture. I love receiving feedback to make something even better, even more powerful – and I believe that’s what makes a successful content developer. Whether it’s writing a press release or conducting an interview for an article – the way the story is told makes all the difference in building a brand.
My journey has taken me from live event freelance work with ESPN, BTN and CBS in Pennsylvania to becoming a Senior Production Assistant in Chicago. I then became a Digital Journalist with Perform Group in Charlotte before joining Compass Group as a Content Marketing Specialist. It’s been an exciting start to my career and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future.
